Part-Time Teaching Assistant – KS1

We are currently seeking a caring and enthusiastic Part-Time Teaching Assistant to support pupils in Key Stage 1 on Thursdays and Fridays.
This role is initially until Easter, with a strong possibility of extending until the end of the academic year.
The successful candidate will:
* Provide in-class and small-group support for KS1 pupils
* Help create a positive, engaging and safe learning environment
* Work closely with the class teacher and wider school team
* Support children with their learning, confidence and wellbeing
We are looking for someone who:
* Has previous experience working with children (school-based experience is ideal, but personal life experience is also very welcome)
* Is patient, nurturing and enthusiastic
* Can build positive relationships with young children
* Is reliable and committed to supporting pupils’ progress
Additional Information:
* Pay: £13–£14 per hour
* A DBS on the Update Service is ideal, but applicants can apply for one through Teaching Personnel if needed
* An initial interview and trial day will take place with the school to ensure the best possible fit before confirming the position

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
