Join to apply for the Clinical Vascular Scientist role at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust.
We are seeking an experienced vascular scientist to join our friendly team of 7 accredited vascular scientists in the expanding Vascular Laboratory at Nottingham University Hospital.
The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of experience in vascular ultrasound and preferably hold full accreditation (AVS) with the Society for Vascular Technology (SVT) of GB and Ireland, or an NHS Scientific Training Programme postgraduate certification or equivalent qualification.

The role involves providing a full range of non-invasive duplex ultrasound investigations. The Vascular Lab is based at the Queens Medical Campus and also serves Nottingham City Hospital, equipped with GE ultrasound systems. The department offers vascular investigations, vascular access work, TCD imaging for children with sickle cell disease, and supports the Nottinghamshire AAA screening program. It is also a training centre for the STP program.
You will work closely with 10 consultant vascular surgeons, vascular radiologists, and clinical nurse practitioners, and will be encouraged to participate in research and audit projects.
Join our diverse team committed to delivering world-class healthcare, with abundant personal development opportunities. We welcome applications from people who identify as Black, Asian, and Minority Ethnic, or Disabled, to enhance our representation.
