1. Support out-patient clinics. 2. Assist in theatre lists, with potential for increased independent practice subject to experience and ability.
2. Assessment of new patients, with consultant supervision. 4. Clerk admissions where required and be responsible for the supervision of the junior team and day-to-day care of in-patients.
3. Attendance and supervision of ward rounds with junior fellow and specialist nurses. 6. Discharge requirements for in-patients.
4. To assist with any other aspects of patient care as appropriate. 8. To lead in surgical planning, and assist in clinic preparation and MDT duties.
5. To participate in audit and research. Rota Duties will be Monday to Friday with time flexibility required within a normal working day. The is no hospital oncall requirement with this post.
