Job Description
3. Prepare and manage financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
4. Oversee budgeting processes, providing insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
5. Monitor and reconcile accounts, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
6. Manage payroll and ensure timely processing of payments.
7. Support audits by preparing necessary documentation and liaising with auditors.
8. Provide financial reporting and analysis to aid decision-making.
9. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and organisational policies.
10. Assist in the implementation of financial systems and process improvements.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Accountant should have:
11. Be undertaking a recognised qualification in accounting or finance. (Part Qual).
12. Experience within the Not For Profit sector or a strong understanding of its financial requirements.
13. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
14. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
15. An ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
16. A proactive approach to identifying and solving financial challenges.
