Are you a KS2 Teacher committed to improving the lives of children and young people?
We are looking for an experienced Teacher to join our team at The Maple Tree, Broadstairs. We seek a Teacher capable of planning and delivering an active, play-based, and bespoke curriculum using a creative approach aligned with the principles of Early Years/Foundation Stage, tailored to meet the academic needs of KS2 students.
This role offers a great opportunity for a dedicated Teacher who wishes to spend less time on paperwork and more on developing creative learning opportunities for children with varied and complex needs. Your work will be both challenging and rewarding, within a school that maintains a strong safeguarding culture, where students are listened to, respected, and involved in decision-making.
We prioritize excellence in caring for our children and are looking for a passionate Teacher experienced in teaching SEN children, sharing our vision to empower vulnerable young people, helping them to be happy and to find their way in the world.
While previous experience in an SEN environment is desirable, excellent teaching skills, motivation, personal qualities, and resilience are equally important.
Applicants should have Qualified Teacher Status or a Degree, and be calm, engaging, resilient, with an innovative teaching style motivated by helping every child reach their potential.

Duties and Responsibilities
1. Plan, prepare, and deliver a range of lessons.
2. Maintain individual records to monitor and track progress, informing planning and assessment.
3. Direct and support learning support assistants, working collaboratively as part of the team.
4. Behave in a warm, friendly, yet professional manner towards colleagues, children, and parents/carers.
5. Share responsibility for the upkeep of the classroom, including resources and equipment.
6. Attend and participate in meetings as required.
7. Attend INSET sessions and training for professional development.
