Job Title: Project Manager - Business/IT for Corporate Contract Register
Contract: 3-Month Contract
Pay Rate: Up to £300 per day

Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in public sector IT solutions to lead the implementation and development of the Corporate Contracts Database Register (CCDR) for a local council. This 3-month contract is vital for the council's Progressive Procurement Strategy, aiming to improve service delivery, ensure value for money, and support community-focused initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead CCDR Implementation: Oversee the deployment and ongoing enhancement of the CCDR, establishing it as the central repository for all contract data.
* Data Management: Resolve critical data issues within the CCDR, including VAT amounts, contract values, and supplier records.
* System Configuration: Manage system settings, user permissions, and authorisations to meet strategic goals.
* User Support: Develop user support documentation and provide daily assistance to ensure system reliability and user confidence.
* Compliance: Prepare the CCDR for compliance with new legislative requirements, including the Procurement Act.
* Contract Management: Enhance contract management processes, including setting reminders, notifications, and tracking milestones.
* System Modernisation: Digitalise sourcing functions within the CCDR to improve procurement efficiency.
* Strategic Support: Ensure the CCDR aligns with the council's commitments to social value and modern slavery prevention in procurement.
Required Skills and Experience
* Extensive experience in public sector IT solutions, especially contract management systems.
* Strong knowledge of contract registers and problem-solving skills.
* Proficiency in system configuration, data management, and strategic alignment.
* Understanding of the Procurement Act and related legislation.
* Ability to create and advise on user support documentation.
* Knowledge of value for money, social value, and e-alert systems.
