Job Title: Document Controller Location: Northern Ireland Salary: £30,000 £40,000 (depending on experience) Role Overview The Document Controller will be responsible for the management, organisation and control of project documentation across multiple live construction projects. This role will play a key part in ensuring drawings, RFIs, technical documents and revisions are managed accurately and efficiently to support project delivery. Working closely with project managers, design teams, site teams and main contractors, the successful candidate will ensure documentation is correctly issued, tracked and maintained in accordance with project requirements and company procedures. Key Responsibilities Document Control & Management Maintain and manage project documentation including drawings, technical submissions, specifications and reports. Ensure all documents are correctly logged, stored, distributed and updated within the companys document management systems. Monitor and manage drawing revisions and version control to ensure teams are working from the latest information. RFI & Technical Documentation Management Track and manage RFIs between internal teams, consultants and main contractors. Ensure responses are recorded and distributed to the relevant stakeholders. Maintain clear records of technical queries, design updates and approvals. Project Coordination Support project and design teams by issuing and receiving project documentation in line with programme requirements. Liaise with main contractors, consultants and subcontractors regarding documentation submissions and approvals. Assist in preparing handover documentation and project close-out records. Systems & Platforms Upload, manage and distribute documentation through common industry platforms including Viewpoint, Aconex, Asite, 4Projects or similar systems. Ensure all documentation is maintained in accordance with project document control procedures. Organisation & Reporting Maintain structured filing systems and document registers across multiple live projects. Provide document tracking reports when required to support project teams. Ensure documentation is managed in a methodical, organised and accurate manner. Requirements / Skills Previous experience in a Document Controller role within a construction or engineering environment. Strong understanding of drawing control, revision tracking and RFI management. Experience using document management systems such as Viewpoint, Aconex, Asite, 4Projects or similar. Highly organised and methodical, with strong attention to detail. Ability to manage documentation across multiple projects simultaneously. Strong communication and coordination skills when dealing with project teams and external stakeholders. Proficient in Microsoft Office.
