Project/Account Manager
Job brief
We are looking for an ambitious and energetic Project Manager to help us maintain and expand upon our existing clientele. This candidate will cover all aspects of signage in a cradle to grave approach on behalf of the company and the customer.
The goal is to deliver projects on time & within budget. This is to coincide with maintaining our core features of the business, manufacturing signage, feeding the factory and its departments. We have a strong base of clients to work with and maintaining relationships is paramount, whilst continuing to expand and develop new customers.
Responsibilities
* Working within a senior account managers team to cater for all clients within
* Responsible for all aspects of a project and/or job from initial enquiry, quotation, manufacture, installation through to invoice
* Signage / shopfitting experience
* The ability to deal with all customers in a professional manner over the telephone, online conferencing or face to face
* To keep in contact with the customer to develop and maintain a professional, friendly and sustainable relationship
* To ensure that customer complaints are dealt with and resolved to the mutual satisfaction of BSL and the customer
* Sufficiently computer literate to carry out all of the necessary aspects of the role
* Possess good communication skills and understand drawings
* The ability to liaise with Operations, Production and all other staff to ensure that the project / job is installed on time and to the customers satisfaction
* To organise or carry out site visits and site surveys
* The ability to fully brief installation teams to ensure that the teams fully understand what is required to install any job to the required standard. Follow up with a de brief after installation to ensure that the job is complete or all information is collated to complete the job.
* Possess product knowledge and keep up to date with changes
* Develop knowledge of the core principles of general signage to support with the Company’s wider aims
* Analyse our existing product/service offerings and identify innovations in line with developing customer needs
* Promote the company’s products/services addressing and predicting clients’ objectives by recommending standard and/or tailor-made specifications
* Arrange business meetings with prospective clients in new and existing markets with a view to building long-term relationships
* The ability to analyse profit & loss on each job / project and report to the management team
* CSCS accreditation
* Hold a full UK driving license and report and driving offences to the business
Requirements
* Proven working experience as a project manager, sales executive or other relevant role
* Proven sales track record
* Experience in customer support
* Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software
* Market knowledge
* Communication and negotiation skills
* Ability to build rapport
* Time management and planning skills
