Salary: £45,000 - 65,000 per year Requirements: Extensive, demonstrable experience in IT Systems Engineering including work in 3rd line support. Experience with networking (TCP / IP, DNS, protocols, routers, firewalls, latency, packet loss) and Windows Server systems administration (Active Directory, PowerShell, GPOs). Additional experience with Linux systems administration (Ubuntu, Apache2, OpenSSL) would be desirable. Experience with large databases (SQL Server or Oracle) would be beneficial. Experience in troubleshooting and project leadership/initiative would be an asset. Responsibilities: Provide 3rd line support for networking, servers, database platforms, and other systems administration areas. Support will be provided 24/7 all year round, including participation in the out-of-hour rota cover (1-week-in-4). Collaborate with the IT team to deliver technical systems administration support for On-Prem and Cloud provisions used by the business. Troubleshoot complex projects that may arise in day-to-day operations.
