Infrastructure Engineer (Secure Endpoint)

We are seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to support the build, configuration, and release of secure enterprise laptop environments. This role focuses on endpoint engineering, image management, security hardening, and large-scale deployment across Windows environments.
The Role
As a Secure Endpoint Infrastructure Engineer, you will design, build, and maintain enterprise laptop images, automate deployment processes, and ensure devices meet corporate security and compliance standards. You will work closely with cybersecurity, infrastructure, and end-user services teams to deliver secure, high-quality endpoint solutions.
Key Responsibilities
* Build, configure, test, and release secure Windows 10/11 enterprise images
* Manage device deployment and lifecycle using SCCM (MECM) and Intune
* Create and maintain task sequences, deployment packages, and update rings
* Apply security baselines, patching, and hardening standards (CIS, NCSC, Microsoft Security Baselines)
* Support OS upgrades and feature update rollouts
* Integrate drivers, firmware, and software packages into standard builds
* Monitor deployment performance and remediate compliance issues
* Document build processes, release controls, and configuration standards
* Implement security controls including BitLocker, Defender, TPM, certificates, and secure boot
* Troubleshoot imaging, deployment, and endpoint performance issues
Required Experience
* Strong hands-on experience with SCCM / MECM (imaging, software distribution, patching)
* Experience with Intune / Endpoint Manager (Autopilot, MDM/MAM, compliance policies)
* Building and maintaining secure Windows 10/11 images (WIM, MDT, OSD)
* Enterprise-scale laptop fleet management and large deployments
* Experience working within structured change and release processes (ITIL desirable)
Technical Skills
* Advanced SCCM/MECM administration
* Intune configuration profiles, compliance rules, and Conditional Access
* PowerShell scripting for automation
* Networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, PXE)
* Windows enterprise security and update mechanisms
* Familiarity with tools such as Git, JIRA, CMDB, and asset tracking systems
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
