A warm and welcoming primary school in the Llantwit Major area is looking to appoint a dedicated and proactive General Teaching Assistant to support learning across the school. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about helping children thrive and eager to gain valuable school-based experience.

Key Responsibilities:
* Support the class teacher with daily classroom activities and lesson delivery.
* Assist with the preparation of learning materials and resources.
* Work with small groups or individual pupils to reinforce learning.
* Support pupils with varying needs, including those with additional learning needs (ALN).
* Help maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
* Supervise pupils during break times, transitions, and school activities as needed.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* Experience working with children in a school or childcare setting.
* A positive, patient, and flexible approach to supporting learning.
* Good communication and teamwork skills.
* A genuine interest in child development and education.
* An Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply for one).
* A relevant qualification (e.g. Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant) is desirable, but not essential.
