Assembly Operative required for our client based in Huthwaite, NG17
Assembly Operative Benefits:
* Static shifts available on Day Shift - Monday to Thursday 07:30am - 4pm & Friday 07:30am - 3pm
* Total: 39 hours per week paid weekly
* Start date: Monday 22nd September 2025
* Pay Rates: £13.23 per hour
* Contract: Temporary to Permanent
* Location: Huthwaite, Sutton in Ashfield, NG17
Assembly Operative Duties:
* Building and assembling panel doors and mirrored doors for Wardrobes
* Working on a bench area
* Using hand tools
* Quality checking of materials and finished products
* Packing and taping items
* Working with wood, panels and mirrors
* Following instructions
* Manual handling large items
* General Housekeeping
* Working on your own and as part of a team
* Minimum daily requirements (production targets)
* There is potential for this role to progress into a charge-hand in the future
Assembly Operative Criteria:
* Previous assembly/manufacturing experience - preferred but not essential
* Hard working, reliable and punctual
* Experience of operating and using hand tools
* Experience of joinery/carpentry preferred but not essential
* Strong attention to detail
* Ability to follow instructions
* Good work ethic and prepared to learn new skills
**Please note this is a very physically demanding role and requires regular manual handling as part of the day to day duties**
