Due to complex user needs and a significant increase in the volume of Service Users, Randstad are keen to recruit experienced Day Centre Support Workers for immediately available contracts. The successful candidates will provide assistance to users within the services of Adult Learning, Physical, or Sensory Disability in a day centre environment. Responsibilities Provide daily assistance to the management team within a Day Centre and community environment. Interact and develop professional relationships with Service Users, including those with non-verbal communication needs. Provide safe escort and Guide Help for service users on designated transport between home and the facility. Handle complex service user needs, including "behaviours that challenge" or physical/verbal aggression. Full involvement in the execution of therapeutic activities and individual group programmes. Mobility assistance and support with physical care needs. Assisting with meals, feeding and hydration while following risk-assessed guidance. Toileting and personal care as required by the individual care plan. Basic administration, care plan reporting, and safe handling of user monies or medication.
