Key Responsibilities of the Computer Science Teacher:
* Deliver high-quality lessons in Computer Science across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 desirable).
* Plan creative and engaging lessons that develop digital skills, coding knowledge, and computational thinking.
* Prepare students for GCSE exams and support academic achievement.
* Foster a safe and inclusive classroom environment where all learners can thrive.
* Contribute to curriculum development and extracurricular computing activities.
Requirements for the Computer Science Teacher role:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised qualification.
* Experience teaching Computer Science in a UK secondary school.
* Strong knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript, HTML/CSS).
* Excellent classroom management and a passion for technology in education.
* An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply via GSL Education.
