As they grow, they’re seeking a commercially minded and strategically focused Senior Finance Business Partner to play a key role in driving sustainable profitability and supporting decision making at the highest level.
Role and Responsibilities
Reporting to the Group Commercial Finance Director, the Senior Finance Business Partner will lead a team and act as a trusted adviser to senior leadership, with responsibilities including:
* Acting as a strategic partner to Regional Managing Directors, providing financial insights and challenge
* Recruiting, managing and developing a high performing team of Finance Business Partners and Analysts
* Supporting operational teams to ensure new projects and contracts are commercially viable and structured for long term success
* Leading budgeting, forecasting and financial planning cycles in line with business strategy
* Building and maintaining financial models to evaluate profitability, cost efficiency and risk exposure
* Providing commercial analysis to support pricing, renewals and new business activity
* Identifying trends and performance drivers to improve profitability and operational efficiency
* Supporting margin enhancement and cost control initiatives in partnership with operational stakeholders
* Overseeing accurate month end reporting and ensuring high quality management accounts
* Enhancing financial reporting for senior stakeholders, highlighting risks, opportunities and performance insights
* Driving standardisation and process improvement across finance and operations
Requirements
We’re looking for a confident and forward-thinking finance leader who brings:
* A recognised accounting qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ACA)
* A strong track record in business partnering roles, ideally within facilities management or a service led industry
* Experience managing and developing high performing teams
* Commercial acumen and a proactive approach to driving business performance
* Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills; ERP systems experience is a plus
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to influence non-finance and senior stakeholders
* A high level of resilience and adaptability, with a hands-on approach to problem solving
* Flexibility to travel to other sites and attend leadership meetings as needed
