About the role Part of our Healthcare Business Unit, the Pharmacy Commercial Partnerships and Supply team are responsible for commercial and supply management of the pharmaceutical category. You will work collaboratively, strategically and cross-functionally with key stakeholders to implement the Pharmacy Supply Strategy, improving supply performance and product availability while managing costs and maintaining a customer-centric approach. Key responsibilities Reporting to the Director of Pharmacy Commercial Partnerships being the deputy on all Pharmacy Supply topics. Key Responsibilities include: Accountable for ongoing development & design of supply operating best practices to continually improve supply performance. Managing replenishment systems and specifically Columbus, supporting with the development of transformational supply chain functionality. Responsible for a stock holding of £90m, monitoring performance against targets, and managing KPIs to ensure high availability and support for Pharmacy Growth. Responsible for managing the relationship with the Pharmacy Services and Boots Online Doctor to optimize stock across all services. Leads, Develop & Engage 2 direct reports, with a wider team of up to 12 people. Accountable for developing and delivering a management strategy for suppliers, taking lead for our Preferred Wholesaler Relationships working across Logistics, Operations, Customer Service and Accounts. Build Key relationships with Store Directors and Areas Teams What you'll need to have Strong Leadership to lead & motivate a high performing, empowered, focused and fulfilled team. Able to resolve conflicting priorities with good communication and networking skills in an internal and external environment. Focused on customer service both internal and external. Strategic Thinking and Planning skills Influence to work collaboratively across different functions. A clear understanding of how to leverage & optimise end to end supply chain costs and drive efficiencies Excellent organisational skills Knowledge and understanding of Pharmacy and Online Services to help shape, grow and maintain existing and new propositions both year-round and Seasonal.
