Disclosures External Reporting – Associate

The Disclosures team within Glasgow Finance division is part of the global External Reporting team, producing firm reporting in accordance with multiple accounting and regulatory frameworks. We seek career-minded individuals to join our team.
The team is responsible for preparing financial reporting disclosures of the firm in accordance with US GAAP and IFRS, as well as financial regulatory reporting for submission to global regulators. We contribute to global projects driven by new regulatory requirements and invest in process enhancements via digital tools and control improvements.
The team collaborates with stakeholders across the firm, including Global Product Controllers, Finance Technology, Legal Entity Control, and the Accounting Policy Group.
Our team comprises 8 members based in Glasgow, fostering a collaborative culture and a positive work environment, as evidenced by our average service length.

Key Responsibilities
* Prepare US GAAP and IFRS financial and regulatory disclosures.
* Draft and review commentary and analytical disclosures.
* Monitor disclosure production timelines.
* Respond to review questions and escalate issues as needed.
* Communicate with management and external auditors.
* Present disclosures and analytics to senior management.
* Understand disclosure requirements and internal policies.
* Maintain documentation and key controls.
Candidate Profile
* Working towards or hold a CA/ACA/ACCA qualification.
* Experience in financial reporting.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Risk awareness and escalation skills.
* Ability to challenge processes constructively.
* Self-motivated with problem-solving skills.
* Strong work ethic and ability to meet deadlines.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
