About the Role This is a unique opportunity to directly influence the commercial performance of aquatic activities across 46 facilities in England and Wales. Working closely with the Head of Aquatics and Sports, you'll focus on a select number of sites at a time, implementing innovative strategies to significantly boost participation in swimming lessons and overall occupancy. This role is about driving real change, increasing the number of people swimming, and making a tangible impact on our business. You'll also take on exciting project responsibilities and provide cover for the Head of Aquatics and Sports when needed. What You'll Be Doing: Leading the Charge: Deliver our cutting-edge Aquatics strategy. Driving Growth: Increase participant numbers in Swimming Lessons and overall occupancy Smart Spending: Manage Aquatics budgets to ensure maximum value and return on investment. Innovation Champion: Collaborate with the Head of Aquatics and Sports on market-leading developments. Marketing: Maximise opportunities through effective acquisition, retention, and awareness campaigns, bridging the gap between sites and the marketing team. Coaching for Success: Empower and coach local teams to identify and execute local opportunities, challenging existing practices with fresh ideas. Building Bridges: Maintain strong working relationships within regional management, especially with Centre Managers and Site Swim Managers. Key Collaborator: Work with important stakeholders like Swim England, Zoggs, and Sport England. Business Builder: Assist with Business Development and growth opportunities across the region. Who We're Looking For: Degree in Sports Development or business (professional qualifications preferred). Proven Aquatics development, leadership, and management skills. Project management skills. Strong communication skills, effective with all levels. Highly credible with internal and external stakeholders. Creative, commercially aware, adaptable, and innovative. Energetic, motivating, friendly, and great at building relationships. Clear, concise, and impactful presenter. Excellent planning, organisational, and report writing skills. Numerically confident.
