Operations Coordinator
Remote-First | Ideally Based Near Oxfordshire | Interim with Strong Permanent Potential
£15-20 per hour DOE | Immediate Start
Robert Half Ltd are supporting a growing business in the search for an experienced and highly adaptable Operations Coordinator to join their team as soon as possible.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, thrives in fast-moving environments, and loves being the person who keeps everything organised behind the scenes. The role is initially offered on an ongoing interim basis, but there is strong potential for it to develop into a permanent position for the right person.
The company operates on a remote-first basis, although they would ideally like someone located within reach of Oxfordshire for occasional in-person support, meetings, or office coordination when required.
The Role
This is a broad, hands-on operations role that will support multiple areas of the business. No two days are likely to look the same, so we're looking for someone who is comfortable switching between priorities, working independently, and proactively identifying where support is needed.
You'll act as a key operational support across the business, helping ensure day-to-day activity runs smoothly while supporting internal teams, processes, systems, and administration.
Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities are likely to include:
1. Providing day-to-day administrative and operational support
2. Coordinating diaries, meetings, travel, and scheduling
3. Supporting HR administration, onboarding, and employee coordination
4. Managing supplier/vendor administration and operational processes
5. Coordinating office, facilities, and equipment requirements
6. Acting as a first point of contact for internal IT coordination and basic support requests
7. Supporting internal documentation, systems, and process improvement
8. Assisting teams cross-functionally in a fast-paced, evolving environment
9. Taking ownership of tasks and ensuring deadlines and priorities are managed effectively
About You
This role would suit someone who is naturally organised, proactive, and solutions-focused. You'll be comfortable managing your own workload autonomously while also collaborating with different stakeholders across the business.
We're looking for someone who:
10. Has previous experience in operations, coordination, administration, office management, or business support roles
11. Is highly organised with strong attention to detail
12. Can confidently juggle multiple priorities and changing demands
13. Works well independently and takes initiative
14. Is adaptable, hands-on, and willing to support wherever needed
15. Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills
16. Is comfortable using business systems and technology
17. Enjoys working in a collaborative, growing company environment
Why Apply?
18. Join a growing and evolving business
19. Work in a genuinely varied role with broad exposure across operations
20. Remote-first flexibility with autonomy and trust
21. Opportunity to make a real impact in a scaling environment
22. Strong potential for the role to become permanent
23. Immediate start available
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys being at the heart of a business, keeping things running efficiently, and supporting teams across multiple functions
