Part‑time Administrative Role – Rheumatology
This is a part‑time post for 18.75 hours per week.
Responsibilities
* The post holder will be the point of contact for all administrative issues relating to Rheumatology patients' pathway of care for blood surveillance.
* Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to ensure the monitoring of patients on a surveillance pathway is managed smoothly.
* Work closely with the Rheumatology CNSs and Consultants to support robust surveillance of the patient monitoring of their condition and act accordingly to the specialty instructions and SOPs.
* Work closely with the DAWN/Biologic Multispecialty surveillance Administrator for Integrated Medicine and closely with the Rheumatology Clinical Administration Team (CAT 9) to ensure appropriate cross‑cover is provided.
* Ensure high levels of patient and clinician satisfaction by being an accessible, customer‑focused and knowledgeable point of contact.
* To provide a consistent approach across the Trust, to ensure that functions of the role are carried out correctly within given timescales, as per SOPs.
* Demonstrate polite, clear, accurate advice line support for patients and document all communication on EPR and DAWN, with some self‑guided initiative.
* The post holder will be expected to work autonomously and seek help from clinician when appropriate.
