Showsec has a fantastic opportunity for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to play a key role in our Finance department. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for the smooth running of our accounts payable function and for maintaining a reliable and efficient purchase ledger system.

What you will be doing
* Process invoices and credit notes.
* Preparation of supplier payments runs and dealing with payment requests.
* Maintaining supplier account records.
* Ensure invoices coded and inputted correctly.
* Assist with queries from supplier.
* Process expenses and credit card expenses.
* Electronic filing of all paperwork.
* Reconciliation of supplier statements to the accounts system.
* Checking bank account and company information for any new payees.
* Month end tasks.
* Perform ad hoc administrative work for the accounts department.

What we need from you
* Right to Work in the UK**
* Maths GCSE or equivalent (C or above)**
* English GCSE or equivalent (C or above)**
* Competent understanding of Microsoft Platforms; Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook Email
* Proficient in written and oral communication skills
* Ability to work to a tight deadline within a fast-paced environment.
