As an Acquisition Surveyor, you will play an important role in helping 3Mobile Phone Operator clients improve connectivity and network performance by finding new mobile and telecommunications sites, upgrading existing sites, and providing associated estates advice.
What you'll do:
1. Site Search
2. Land ownership checks
3. ECC valuations
4. Attend client reviews & manage client reporting tools
5. Organise surveys, attend site meetings, liaise with colleagues, clients, and agents
6. Review technical drawings
7. Secure consents
8. Negotiate agreements
9. Manage a portfolio of telecom sites with acquisition & planning deliverables
10. Review legal documents and undertake land & property negotiations
11. Prepare town planning pre-application strategies & consultations
12. Prepare & submit planning applications to local planning authorities
13. Manage agreement renewals
14. Compile & manage programs of work & workloads
15. Provide project-wide administrative support
16. Support training of graduates/junior members of the Acquisition teams
17. Ensure accurate site-by-site records and commentary
18. Deliver client milestone KPIs
19. Provide team/project-wide support
20. Support Business Development activity
21. Help build client relationships
Who you are:
Someone with demonstrable experience in the requirements listed below, ideally within the Telecoms industry, and aware of specific laws and legislation related to that industry.
Key requirements:
* Business experience and transferable skills
* Good IT skills
* Good interpersonal skills
* Ability to work within a team and with contractors
* Ability to work under pressure and achieve targets
* Able to deal with continuous change
* Full driving license
* Telecoms or property industry experience
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Property or Engineering qualifications or practical experience
* Understanding of Town Planning & Highways procedures
