Working: The role offers flexible working but does require engineers on site for a minimum of 3 days per week and is on a secure site where SC clearance is needed.
Due to increased workload, one of our major defence clients is looking for experienced stress engineers to lead the structural design and development of a next-generation complex projects.
The Stress Engineers will collaborate closely with multi-disciplinary teams across our UK sites to develop an advanced aerospace structural solution.
The team is responsible for the structural and thermal performance of military systems. And will deliver structural and thermal analysis expertise across the whole product lifecycle from studies in the early concept stage and detailed development of engineering designs to manufacturing concessions and in-service support.
This role can provide opportunities to gain experience across a wide range of structural analysis disciplines, including but not limited to: Classical hand calculations; CAE Modelling (Static, Dynamic, Fatigue, Aeroelastics, Non-Linear, Impact, Kinematic), Qualification & Design Testing,...
