Leisure Furnishings Ltd is a privately owned manufacturing business based in the East Midlands supplying soft furnishings to the UK Leisure Industry. All of our products are manufactured at our site in Long Eaton.
An opportunity has become available for a Stores Supervisor within this leading soft furnishings company. The role requires the supervision and guidance of a team in the daily operations of a warehouse to ensure smooth inventory management and order fulfilment to production.
You will coordinate with other departments to ensure stock levels meet production demands, whilst adhering to health and safety regulations.
The duties and skills will include but not be limited to:
· Team Leadership & Motivation skills
· Stock Management – deliveries, organisation, stock counts
· Stores Operations including prioritising and managing multiple tasks
· Teamwork & task delegation – planning workloads, setting goals & deadlines
· Good Communication & interpersonal skills essential
· Ability to resolve conflict & problem solving such as stock discrepancies
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
· Be proactive in making and supporting continuous improvements and efficiency initiatives
· Good attention to detail required
· Must be computer literate, with knowledge of computer applications (Excel essential & Factor Master would be desirable)
· Experience in fork lift driving would be advantageous or at least a willingness to learn.
This is a full time role 38 hours per week, Monday – Thursday, 6.30am – 4.30pm.
