Requirements
The successful applicant will be an important part of the finance team and will be involved with:
* Prepare and analyse financial reports to support strategic decision-making.
* Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
* Analyse financial performance and identify trends and variances with good collaboration with each of the department heads.
* Analyse variances between actual results and the business plan/forecast, providing recommendations for corrective actions.
* Support scenario planning to evaluate potential financial outcomes under different business conditions.
* Support the month-end and year-end closing processes.
* Develop and streamline financial systems and processes for improved financial management including automation of monthly reporting.
* Develop dashboards and visualisations to provide real-time performance insights to decision makers.
* Ensure compliance with financial procedures and internal controls.
* Adhoc support to the finance team including audit requirements.
Skills/Attributes/Experience
* Preferably a qualified accountant
* Good communication skills to liaise with other departments and senior leaders.
* Proficient in the use of financial software and analysis tools.
* Organised with an attention to detail.
* Problem solving approach.
