*Overview*Birchwood Group is a forward-looking company with retail stores, workshops and facilities based across the south coast of Sussex and Hampshire.We are currently seeking a motivated and skilled Technician to join our team at our busy workshop facilities at Kia Washington.*Your duties will include but are not limited to the following:** Carryout vehicle servicing and repairs* Carryout basic diagnosis of vehicle faults* Repair and rectify electrical and mechanical defects consistently to a high standard of workmanship* Follow manufacturers recommended repair processes* Carryout electronic vehicle health checks combined with video evidence* Complete all associated administration including repair write-ups and warranty claim information* Liaise with After-Sales Advisors and work as part of a team* Carryout mandatory manufacturer training as and when required*Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required:** Previous experience as a vehicle technician in diagnostics, repairs, and servicing* Minimum IMI level 3 (or equivalent)* MOT qualified is a benefit* Electric vehicle diagnostic and repair qualifications desirable but not essential* Full valid UK driving license (required)* Ability to work independently and as part of a team* Good problem-solving skills and able to manage tasks efficiently* Excellent attention to detail*Package:**Salary*:£32,000-£35,000 (OTE £38,000-OTE £41,000) dependent on experience*Hours*: 42.5 hours average per week, Monday-Friday 08:00-17:00, Saturdays 8:00-12:00 (1 in 3 on rota)*Holiday*: 22 days per year + bank holidays*Benefits*: Health cash plan and perks, Employee Assistance Programme, company pension, subsidised vehicle purchase and aftersales scheme (upon completion of probation)_*We are an Equal Opportunities Employer*_Due to the high volume of applications we receive, unfortunately, we are unable to contact each applicant individually regarding the status of their application.
