An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic administrator to join the Radiology on a temporary basis to cover maternity leave. The post holder will provide a comprehensive, effective and professional support to the Radiology department, allocating and outsourcing imaging and producing activity/performance reports for management.
Main duties of the job
· To allocate and ensure all imaging is reported according to set KPIs.
· To provide comprehensive activity and performance reports to management.
· To ensure that all Trust Policies and Procedures relating to the role are adhered to.
The post holder will be predominantly office based and undertake the following activities:
· Allocate reporting to consultant radiologists according to job plan and reporting requirements ensuring reports are completed within relevant KPIs.
· Allocate reporting to external companies and liaising with companies to resolve any issues, escalating to management as necessary and ensuring reports are completed within relevant KPIs.
· Attendance at meetings relating to performance/activity as and when necessary.
· Maintaining up-to-date and accurate records of allocations and other relevant data.
· Monitoring consultant reporting and producing a weekly report on consultant activity.
· Monitoring and producing a weekly report on departmental performance.
· Acting as a point of contact for consultants, external companies and other members of the team.
· Data collection, update, management and maintenance of databases relevant to the service.
The post holder will be expected to perform any other duties as agreed by the Head of Radiology.

Essential criteria
1. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
2. Excellent planning, prioritisation and organisational skills

4. Efficient and accurate MS Office skills
5. Awareness of General Data Protection Regulations and patient confidentiality
6. Able to deal with sensitive data in a professional and confidential manner
7. Understanding of a range of work procedures associated with administration.

8. Trust experience; knowledge of STHFT policies and procedures
