Are you an experienced L&D professional ready to hit the ground running? We’re looking for a confident, hands-on Learning & Development Project Lead to shape and deliver a strategic training programme across a diverse, operational management workforce in London.
This is a highly visible role focused on talent mapping, skills gap analysis, training design, delivery, and evaluation— working across all levels, from operational managers to senior leadership.
The Role: This isn’t a desk job. You’ll be actively visiting sites, engaging managers, and gathering insights to inform and develop a targeted learning strategy. The focus is on improving consistency, upskilling leadership, and supporting a cultural shift in how training is delivered and valued.
Key Responsibilities:
* Identify training needs through data, performance scores, and stakeholder engagement
* Map skills, analyse leadership capability, and create tailored development programmes
* Design and deliver impactful training for non-driving staff through to General Managers
* Evaluate training effectiveness and refine approaches based on outcomes
* Occasionally source bespoke external solutions when necessary
* Contribute to digital transformation of training delivery (currently classroom-based)
* Partner with senior leaders to ensure alignment with operational and business goals
What We're Looking For:
* Strong experience in L&D within transport, logistics, or similar blue-collar environments
* Skilled in TNA, training design, delivery, and evaluation
* Comfortable leading from the front and influencing senior stakeholders
* Resilient, proactive, and able to build trust quickly on-site
* Experience in project management and digital learning transformation
