About The Role
HC-One is seeking a Maintenance Operative with solid experience in maintenance, building, DIY, cleaning, and housekeeping. The ideal candidate will have technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, and some IT skills are preferred. Communication skills should be considerate and kind, especially when interacting with residents and colleagues.
The Maintenance Operative will ensure our residents live in a well-maintained environment by conducting inspections, audits, and maintaining accurate records. Responsibilities include replacing taps or mixer valves, fitting extractor fans, repairing windows, or decorating, always with kindness and professionalism.
Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. You should be able to recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect, and know how to respond appropriately. All staff are required to attend safeguarding training and undertake additional role-specific training. You must be able to seek advice and escalate concerns when necessary.
