We're looking for a proactive and highly organised Legal Secretary to join our Cardiff office on a permanent basis. This is a key role that ensures the smooth running of our day-to-day operations within the Commercial & Regulatory Team and provides outstanding support to the team of fee earners.
Responsible for:
Providing full secretarial, PA and administrative support to a team of fee earners
Preparing and formatting correspondence and legal documents
Maintaining accurate documentation and filing systems
File opening/closing
Supporting and coordinating client billing
Dealing with emails/correspondence, calls and enquiries
Photocopying and scanning documents and managing incoming post
Diary management, planning and organising meetings, travel and accommodation and lunches
Key Competencies:
Legal secretarial or PA experience
Excellent IT skills to include Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
Commitment to providing excellent service
Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, ability to multi-task, prioritise a high-volume workload and work to deadlines
Ability to work well under pressure, adapt to changing requirements and see opportunities for improvement
Flexible 'can do' approach with the ability to work proactively, use own initiative and offer solutions
Team focus with a flexible and collaborative approach to working with others, but also able to work alone
Confidence to communicate with all levels in order to manage expectations and maintain effective working relationships
