Specification Sales Co-ordinator – Interior Products
Location: Shildon, County Durham (DL4)
Salary: £30,000 Basic + Quarterly Bonus (~£10,000 per year)
OTE: Circa £40,000

The Company
Our client is a leading manufacturer of innovative interior products for both residential and commercial environments, including decorative panels, laminate worktops, compact surfaces, waterproof wall panels, and exterior cladding solutions. Known for high-quality products and outstanding service, they are well-established within their sector and continuing to grow.
As a result of this growth, they are now looking to appoint a Specification Sales Co-ordinator to join their commercial team, based out of their office in Shildon, County Durham.
The Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys engaging with customers over the phone, building strong relationships, and spotting opportunities. The successful candidate will support the external sales team by identifying and converting specification opportunities across architects, designers, contractors, and end users.
They will play a key role in developing a strong sales pipeline and helping drive the business forward.
Key Responsibilities:

Secure new specifications with architects, designers, and commercial customers
*
Identify leads and manage project pipelines using platforms such as Glenigan, LinkedIn, and Google
*
Deliver virtual presentations and send out samples, brochures, and supporting materials
*
Build and maintain strong client relationships across multiple touchpoints
*
Support the external specification sales team in tracking and closing project opportunities
*
Represent the brand and full product offering professionally in all communications
Candidate Profile:
*
1–3 years of sales experience (telesales or client-facing)
*
Experience in the interiors, design, construction, or showroom/merchant sectors
*
Confident communicator, both over the phone and via Teams
*
Organised, proactive, and highly motivated
*
Able to handle multiple leads and follow-up activity efficiently
*
CRM experience (Salesforce preferred)
*
Some technical product knowledge would be beneficial, though not essential
