I'm working with a well-established, forward-thinking building services consultancy based in Hertfordshire, known for delivering high-quality, sustainable design solutions across the commercial, residential, and education sectors. With steady growth and a strong project pipeline, they're now looking for an Electrical Engineer to join their friendly and talented team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to take on more project responsibility, contribute to detailed design work, and grow into a senior position with support from experienced mentors.
What you'll be doing:
* Delivering electrical building services designs from concept through to completion
* Supporting project delivery across a diverse portfolio of developments
* Collaborating with mechanical, structural, and sustainability teams to deliver coordinated solutions
* Attending client meetings and contributing to design reviews
* Mentoring junior engineers and supporting their professional development
What we're looking for:
* Experience working in a UK building services consultancy
* Strong knowledge of electrical design standards and relevant regulations
* Proficiency in software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Amtech (or similar)
* Degree or HNC/HND in Building Services or Electrical Engineering
* Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving
