Join Our Team: HGV 2 Driver DaysPosition: HGV 2 Driver DaysLocation: London Gatwick Airport, West Sussex, RH6 0NPSalary: Up to £17.86 per hourApply Now!Job OverviewRegular roster of 3on 3off shift pattern, Start Time between 9am and 3pm and finishing between 6pm and midnight Overtime rate of 1.5, Free onsite parking, complimentary meals and refreshments.What will life as a HGV 2 Driver Days in the Gategroup Team look like for you :£17.86 per hourOvertime @ 1.5 times the hourly rate4on-4off 05:00-17:00Inhouse training and developmentComplimentary meals & beveragesFree on-site parkingPaid HolidayRegular shift patternsMain Duties and ResponsibilitiesDriving HGV 15 - 18 tonne company liveried vehicles in a secure & controlled environmentCarrying out vehicle checks prior to useLoading and unloading catering uplifts to aircraftLiaison with flight crew and working in collaboration with other ground handling suppliersMaintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of the vehicleAdhering to all Road Traffic Acts and additional Airport By- lawsAdditional duties such as Bar and stores packing or search and sealing will be a daily requirement along with any associated paperwork.Plus any additional warehouse dutiesRequirements of the HGV Driver Days :Valid clean HGV CAT C Driving Licence (up to 3 points will be considered)Digital Tachograph knowledge and possession of a digital tachograph cardDriver CPC qualification essentialPrevious HGV experience desirable, Airport Airside Driving would be an advantageKnowledge of the Road Traffic ActPrevious experience in a catering or hospitality role is desirable but not essential. You must be able to work shifts and be keen to learn. In addition to job - related training, you will develop your skills in team work, time management, multi-tasking, communication and attention to detail.All applicants must have the right to work in the UK, undertake a CRC (Criminal Record Check) and provide 5 years of checkable referencing history.
