<div><h3>Inclusive Education Officer</h3><p>In 2026/27 the University of Bath is launching its new Inclusive Education framework and this role will be vital in ensuring anticipatory reasonable adjustments are available to all students consistently. The focus is on disability‑related inclusion, yet the impact will be far wider.</p><p>Working alongside academic and Professional Service colleagues you will support the framework’s roll‑out and organise the effective use of staff training resources across the three faculties: Humanities and Social Sciences, Engineering & Design, and Science.</p><p>Key responsibilities include:</p><ul><li>Supporting the roll‑out of the inclusive education framework across multiple faculties.</li><li>Designing reporting that is accurate, efficient, scalable and actionable to monitor and evaluate implementation and impact.</li><li>Participating in bulk remediation of course and learning materials, liaising with specialist services, and driving process‑improvement work.</li><li>Sharing expertise in formal settings such as committees, departmental forums and institution‑wide working groups.</li><li>Managing the effective use of a variety of staff training resources.</li></ul><p>What we are looking for:</p><ul><li>Communicate confidently and clearly with senior stakeholders, individuals and large groups in person and online, and write with fluency and accuracy for a variety of audiences.</li><li>Work systematically and transparently, being highly organised, adept at using Office productivity software, and comfortable reporting engagement and compliance at individual, unit, course, and department levels.</li><li>Embrace and promote change, showing resilience; recognise variable colleague engagement, follow up data requests or non‑responders with tact and persistence, and escalating where necessary.</li><li>Want to work at scale, passionately driving system‑wide change by aligning inclusive education practice across different departments.</li></ul><p>Equal Opportunities Statement:</p><p>The University of Bath celebrates and respects difference.
