About the Role:
We are looking for a capable and experienced individual to support the upkeep and presentation of a residential and mixed-use property portfolio in Bournemouth. You will take full responsibility for a wide range of hands-on maintenance tasks, including basic plumbing, tiling, flooring, painting, decorating, and general property repairs.
The ideal candidate will be reliable, self-sufficient, and take pride in producing high-quality work across tenanted and vacant properties.
Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out day-to-day maintenance and repair work across the property portfolio
* Complete tasks to a high standard in the following areas:
* Basic plumbing – tap/toilet replacements, leak repairs, drainage fixes
* Tiling – wall and floor repairs, grout and silicone replacement
* Flooring – fitting/replacing laminate, vinyl, or carpet tiles as required
* Painting and decorating – full-room refreshes, touch-ups, mould treatment
* Joinery – adjusting or repairing doors, skirting, cupboards, fittings
* General repairs – damage to walls, fixtures, fittings, and minor cosmetic issues
* Accurately diagnose problems and resolve them efficiently
* Ensure all work is clean, safe, and minimally disruptive to tenants
* Liaise with the property manager and log work completed
* Flag any issues requiring specialist contractors or safety concerns
Key Requirements:
* Proven experience in a multi-trade property maintenance role
* Strong practical skills across plumbing, tiling, flooring, and decorating
* Ability to produce neat, reliable, and safe results without supervision
* Comfortable working in tenanted properties and engaging professionally with residents
* Full UK driving licence
* Own tools preferred (van/tools can be provided if needed)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to £35,000.00 per year
