Description
As Procurement Business Partner, duties will include, however, not be limited to:
Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with organisational goals.
Provide expert advice on procurement processes and compliance requirements.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and suppliers.
Manage and oversee tendering processes to ensure value for money.
Monitor supplier performance and address any issues to optimise service delivery.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and meet procurement needs.
Ensure adherence to public sector procurement regulations and policies.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of procurement practices and procedures.Profile
A successful Procurement Business Partner should have:
A strong background in procurement, within the public sector.
PA23 Certified.
Proven experience in developing and implementing procurement strategies.
Excellent knowledge of public sector procurement regulations and compliance requirements.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
A relevant professional qualification or membership (e.g., CIPS) is desirable.
