An established independent accountancy practice in Northampton is looking to recruit an Audit & Accounts Manager or Assistant Manager as part of its continued growth.There is also the opportunity to progress to become an RI for audit and sign off the audits.
This is a firm where individuals are given visibility, responsibility, and direct access to decision-makers. The role offers a strong mix of audit and accounts work, close client interaction, and the opportunity to play a meaningful part in the development of both clients and the wider team.

The Role
Manage a varied portfolio of audit and accounts clients, primarily owner-managed businesses
Lead audit assignments from planning through to completion and review
Review statutory accounts and provide practical support to clients where required
Build and maintain strong client relationships as a key point of contact
Support and mentor junior team members
Contribute to client retention and wider business development activity
About You
ACA or ACCA qualified
Experience gained within UK accountancy practice
Confident leading audit assignments and reviewing accounts
Comfortable managing client relationships directly
Organised and able to manage workloads effectively
Looking for a role offering long-term progression and broader involvement within a firm
