Join Our Team as a Site Engineer!
Are you ready to make a difference in the Natural Resources sector? We are seeking a passionate Site Engineer to join our dynamic team, working on the Thames Water Framework at our site in Harpenden, Herefordshire.
About the Role
This is a permanent, full-time position, with flexible and part-time hours available if desired. Your contributions will be vital in delivering various projects within the Thames Water framework.
Your Responsibilities
As a Site Engineer, you will:
* Act as the main technical adviser on-site for subcontractors, craftspeople, and operatives.
* Set out and determine the location for infrastructure installations, both above and below ground.
* Check plans, drawings, and quantities for accuracy, ensuring all materials and work meet specifications.
* Agree on material prices and propose cost-effective solutions for projects.
* Manage and interpret contract documents supplied by clients or designers.
* Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, and local authorities to ensure compliance with regulations.
What We’re Looking For
This role is perfect for you if you have:
* Experience in a civil engineering or construction environment, particularly in the Water sector.
* Strong consultative and collaborative skills, with excellent written and oral communication abilities.
* Organizational skills and a methodical approach to your work.
* A full UK Driving Licence.
