This is a critical leadership role, working closely with an inspiring UK Managing Director and wider leadership team to shape the strategic direction, drive performance, and instil a new culture of collaboration, accountability, and excellence across the finance function.

ROLE
As Chief Financial Officer, you will be responsible for leading the finance function and partnering with the senior leadership team to shape and execute the UK strategy. This will include both strategic leadership and hands-on operational finance, ensuring the business has the insight, control, and capability it needs to grow. You’ll be tasked with transforming the culture within finance, galvanising the team around shared goals and creating a high-performing, commercially-minded function that plays a key role in decision-making and business success.
Key Responsibilities:
* Partner with the UK MD and Group stakeholders to drive UK strategy and performance
* Oversee all financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis
* Provide robust insight and challenge to support commercial and operational decisions
* Lead and develop the finance team, embedding a culture of accountability, development, and excellence
* Support investment decisions and efficiency initiatives
* Act as a trusted advisor to the wider senior leadership team and Group board
* Ensure financial compliance, risk management, and governance are of the highest standard
PERSON:
We’re looking for an experienced, resilient, and collaborative finance leader who thrives in a hands-on, fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a track record in leading finance within a services-based business and ideally have worked in a large, matrixed or global group structure.
Key Skills & Experience:
* Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with significant post-qualified experience
* Proven CFO or senior finance leadership experience in a £50m+ turnover services business
* Strong leadership credentials with experience of culture change and team development
* Commercially astute with excellent business partnering and stakeholder management skills
* Comfortable operating both strategically and operationally in a complex environment
* A credible, emotionally intelligent leader with the gravitas to influence at board level

* Salary up to £150,000
