We are delighted to be supporting a respected social care charity in the recruitment of an experienced Learning & Development Adviser. This is a fantastic opportunity for an L&D professional who is passionate about supporting workforce development in a purpose-driven organisation.
The role is based in Glasgow, with regional travel to services across Scotland, and plays a key part in delivering, coordinating, and enhancing L&D initiatives that directly impact the quality of frontline support.
The Role
As the Learning & Development Adviser, you will:

Support the delivery of L&D initiatives across the region, ensuring colleagues receive high-quality learning experiences.

Work closely with the L&D Manager to help revamp and modernise the L&D function, contributing ideas and supporting implementation of improvements.
*
Maintain and update the organisation’s Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring data accuracy, course availability, and user support.
*
Coordinate mandatory and developmental training, liaising with internal teams and external training providers.
*
Monitor training compliance, produce reports, and support managers in understanding development needs.
*
Contribute to the creation and refresh of L&D materials, resources, and digital content.

Support the planning and facilitation of training sessions, workshops, and events.
About You
To be successful in this role, you must have:

Experience working in Learning & Development within the social care sector — this is essential.

Strong coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities across different locations.
*
Confidence maintaining and using an LMS, with good digital literacy.
*
Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
*
A proactive, solutions-focused approach with a genuine passion for developing others.
*
Flexibility to travel regionally as required.
