Business Development Manager
£30,000 - £40,000 + Uncapped Commission
Greater London or Midlands

We are working with a growing technology company delivering a modern software platform that supports businesses in managing fleet solutions more efficiently. With a strong presence across the UK and growing international reach, they are now looking to appoint a Business Development Manager to support continued expansion.

This is an excellent opportunity for a driven sales professional to join a high-growth environment, where you will play a key role in generating new business, building pipeline, and developing long-term client relationships.


The Role

As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving new business acquisition while also supporting the growth of existing accounts. This is a proactive, front‑end sales role with a strong focus on pipeline generation, consultative selling, and closing deals.

You’ll be working closely with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions, ensuring clients gain real value from the platform.


Key Responsibilities

* Identify and win new business opportunities across target markets
* Build and manage a consistent pipeline through outbound activity, inbound leads, and partner referrals
* Follow structured sales processes to manage opportunities and maintain accurate CRM data
* Deliver product demonstrations, proposals, and presentations to prospective clients
* Negotiate and close deals, building long-term commercial relationships
* Support marketing initiatives, including social selling and content engagement
* Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activity, and new opportunities


Requirements

* Previous experience in a Business Development, Sales, or similar role
* Proven track record of hitting and exceeding sales targets
* Experience selling SaaS or technology solutions is highly desirable
* Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills
* Comfortable working in a target‑driven, fast‑paced environment
* Experience using CRM systems and managing a structured sales pipeline
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
* Willingness to travel where required
* Bachelors degree in a relevant field
