About the Role
Connex Education is working in partnership with a number of primary schools across NG10 (Long Eaton and nearby areas) who are looking to recruit Teaching Assistants to support on a flexible supply basis.
You will be supporting across EYFS, KS1 and KS2, working closely with teachers to ensure pupils remain engaged and supported throughout the school day.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Supporting pupils on a one-to-one basis and in small groups
2. Assisting with lesson delivery and classroom organisation
3. Promoting positive behaviour in line with school policies
4. Helping pupils stay focused and make progress in lessons
This role is ideal for individuals looking for flexible, local work, with the opportunity to build consistent placements within schools.

Person Specification
14. Recent UK-based experience working with children (school-based preferred)
15. Confident supporting pupils one-to-one and in small groups
16. Strong communication skills and a calm, professional approach
17. Reliable, adaptable, and able to integrate quickly into new settings
18. Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply
