Raw Material Technologist
Hours: Standard working hours are 40 hours per week, typically 8.30 am – 5 pm with a 30-minute lunch break, Monday – Friday

Our client is a market-leading food manufacturing group seeking an experienced Raw Material Technologist to join their team.
Supporting with all aspects of document control for the Technical function and other relevant departments within the business.
Timely administration and maintenance of the raw material database, including service suppliers, ensuring integrity and accuracy.
Creating and maintaining up-to-date records in the Quality Attributes System.
Receipt and administration of Consumer Complaints, as well as maintaining and reporting management information to monitor trends, identify and address recurring issues regularly.
Maintaining product testing database and various schedules, including nutritional, chemical and other contaminants and preparing results for the review and approval by the Manager.
A third-level qualification (diploma or degree) in Food Science or a relevant subject would be advantageous.
Experience in a similar role gained in food manufacturing (FMCG), preferably with a major retail customer would be advantageous.
Internal Auditor training and experience.
A good understanding of legislation and business systems is required to ensure food safety for the consumer is met at all times.
Excellent knowledge and significant experience of relevant IT systems, including MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Fast and accurate typing skills with a high level of attention to detail.
