Overview
Our client, a respected entity in the water sector, is currently seeking a skilled CAD Technician to join their team on a contractual basis. This role offers the unique opportunity to be involved in both infrastructure and non-infrastructure projects, including clean and waste water initiatives.
Responsibilities
* Developing and preparing CAD drawings for a range of water projects
* Collaborating with engineers and project managers to understand project requirements
* Ensuring all drawings adhere to project specifications and industry standards
* Managing multiple frameworks including STW, Thames, Anglian, Southern, and Southwest Water
* Participating in hybrid work arrangements with flexibility in location
* Assisting in reviewing and updating CAD standards and protocols
* Contributing to the successful delivery of both infrastructure and non-infrastructure projects
Job Requirements
* Experience in civil CAD design, specifically within the water sector
* Proficiency with CAD software and other design tools
* Understanding of design standards and regulations in the water industry
* Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
* Willingness to start the role as soon as possible
