Job Title: Design Co-ordinator (Water Sector)
Our client is seeking a Design Co-ordinator to join their team within the Water sector. This role requires a strong understanding of design principles and experience in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil engineering.
Key Skills and Requirements
* Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering (BSc/HND/HNC)
* Significant experience in the Water sector with a focus on design
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Proven ability to coordinate design activities and ensure buildability
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Proficiency in relevant design software and tools
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
* Self-motivated, proactive, with keen attention to detail
Key Responsibilities
1. Collaborate with consultancy and site teams for effective communication and coordination
2. Review and assess design plans and specifications for compliance
3. Provide technical advice on design-related issues
4. Monitor and report progress on design activities
5. Facilitate design meetings with stakeholders
6. Assist in preparing project documentation, including design briefs and reports
7. Contribute to improving design processes and procedures
8. Ensure adherence to health, safety, and quality standards
