Join a prestigious international law firm as a Senior Finance Operations Manager. This pivotal role will oversee the efficient operation of financial processes, compliance, and team leadership within the Finance Department, contributing significantly to the firm's ongoing success.
Key Responsibilities:
•Lead, manage, and develop a team of finance administrators, providing guidance and ensuring optimal allocation of workloads.
•Oversee daily financial operations including billing, credit control, cashiering, bank reconciliations, accounts payable, and client payments.
•Ensure timely and accurate month-end finance processes and client accounting procedures.
•Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements including local law society regulations and AML standards.
•Implement and maintain robust financial controls and procedures.
•Manage banking relationships, online platforms, and account mandates.
•Coordinate closely with internal stakeholders including fee earners, partners, and departments to address financial inquiries and enhance operational effectiveness.
•Facilitate financial audits and investigations.
What You Need:
•Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, CPA).
•Strong leadership and people management experience.
•Previous senior-level finance operations experience, preferably within a professional services or law firm environment.
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
•Proficiency in Excel; experience with Aderant practice management system advantageous.
•Proven track record in process improvement and implementation of financial controls.
