Robert Half are delighted to be partnering with a energy infrastructure developer looking to appoint an Interim Financial Controller to support with the key financial insights and supporting growth plans, M&A, and capital raising alongside the CFO. The role will be hybrid and could convert over into a long term appointment.
Responsibilities
1. Building strong, effective working relationships with the Project Leads, Board of Directors, and Investment Partner
2. Delivering clear, insightful financial analysis and commentary to inform stakeholder decision-making
3. Ensuring full compliance with the Investment Partnership framework, as well as all Companies Act, VAT, Corporation Tax, and regulatory requirements
4. Leading, mentoring, and developing a small team of junior staff
5. Staying up to date with technical developments and maintaining expertise across all areas of financial reporting
6. Overseeing the proper procurement and authorisation of financial commitments, in line with agreed approval thresholds
7. Preparing the annual Development Expenditure Budget and managing any subsequent budget revisions
