Overview
We are looking to employ a Facilities Operations Manager to work within Facility Services and Civic Management City Operations. The post will manage the operational delivery of caretaking and cleaning services to schools and public buildings within the city.
Responsibilities
* Lead a team of front‑line resources providing caretaking and building cleaning services directly to clients in schools and public buildings, ensuring quality standards are consistently achieved.
* Manage the operational delivery of caretaking and cleaning services to schools and public buildings within the city.
* Develop and drive service improvements, manage resources effectively, and thrive within a busy and challenging commercial environment.
* Develop and maintain excellent relationships with a range of internal and external customers and partners, ensuring effective communication.
Qualifications
* Recent operational experience in a facilities environment.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Good negotiation skills.
* Ability to develop and drive continuous improvement projects.
* Experience managing resources and leading a team.
