Your new role
As Fire Risk Officer, you will play a vital role in ensuring fire safety across a range of residential and communal buildings. Reporting to senior fire safety leadership, you will:
Conduct and review fire risk assessments in line with PAS 79 and relevant legislation
Liaise with external authorities and internal teams to ensure compliance and best practice
Develop and implement fire safety action plans and training
Provide expert advice following fire-related incidents and contribute to investigations
Maintain accurate records and contribute to strategic fire safety planning
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will need:
Fire Safety and Fire Risk Assessment training (IFE or equivalent) -
Essential
At least two years' experience conducting fire risk assessments and producing reports
Strong knowledge of fire safety legislation, particularly within a housing environment
Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence at all levels
A methodical, detail-oriented approach and the ability to manage your own workload
A full UK driving licence or the ability to travel locally
