The Role
Join our dedicated GRTB Service team and play a vital role in supporting Gypsy, Roma, Traveller, and Boater communities across Wiltshire and BANES. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference by working directly with individuals and families at council and private sites, roadside stops, and other key locations.
As part of a supportive and collaborative team, you'll work alongside internal colleagues and partner organisations to deliver a joined-up, person-centred service. You'll be instrumental in carrying out strengths-based and risk assessments, developing and reviewing individual support plans, and ensuring clients are actively involved in shaping their own journey.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and track referrals into the service.
* Provide clear, accessible information to help clients navigate and engage with appropriate support services.
* Maintain accurate, timely records of all client interactions and outcomes.
* Encourage and support clients to participate in consultation events, both within Julian House and the wider community.
* Carry out any other reasonable duties aligned with the role's purpose and responsibilities.
What We're Looking For
* A valid UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle (business insurance required).
* A strong understanding of, or willingness to learn about, the needs and experiences of Gypsy, Roma, Traveller, and Boater communities.
* A compassionate, non-judgemental approach and a genuine enthusiasm for supporting individuals from under-served backgrounds.
* The ability to travel across Wiltshire and Bath & North East Somerset as part of your role.
